MS, ATR-BC, LPC
I am passionate about working collaboratively with clients and empowering them to make life-affirming changes at their own pace. I have nearly five years' post-graduate experience in various treatment settings, including: inpatient behavioral health, juvenile detention, partial hospitalization and schools (AmeriCorps). I espouse a context-driven, Phenomenological approach to therapy which asserts that people are the experts in their own lives. My role is to be a companion on their journey and provide insight and encouragement. I enjoy working with clients from all ages and stages of life.
In an art therapy session, I encourage clients to explore various art materials in order to access emotions and generate insight. I believe that the creative process assists with understanding thought and behavior patterns, processing “stuck” emotions, and promoting grounding and relaxation.
Contact me to schedule a free, in-person or telephone consultation. I will begin scheduling clients for after January 1, 2019. My hours of operation will be Mondays and Tuesdays from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. I look forward to hearing from you!
